3-full days photography event and workshop with the Award winning visual artist, Tifa Photographer of the year and Fuji Ambassador Joachim Bergauer.
Express your creativity in your photos at beautiful surroundings of the Pag island, such as lunar nature, old olive trees garden, beautiful rocky beaches, modern sunset villa and more.
Joachim Bergauer will train each group (2 photographers) for 1 session during the event in a super cool inspiring atmosphere. No group pressure, no boring theory talks - just pure artistic creation.

Located near Zadar, Pag island, 60 km long, with 8,000 inhabitants and 30,000 sheeps, is the fifth largest island in Croatia. The island is characterized by a desert and almost lunar landscape, but is also known for its olive groves dating back more than 1,500 years. The island of Pag is different from the other islands in Croatia and will surprise you!

Village
We will stay in the picturesque village of Metajna, full of amazing atmosphere, surrounded by magical nature and lots of interesting spots in walking distance to photograph our models.
The accommodation is in the 4-star hotel Bara Bay / single room occupancy

CONTENT
To ensure the best conditions for shooting and enough space at locations, we are going to split our photo group each day into two teams, each team with its own location schedule and inner group schedule.
Photographers work in a group of two with each of the models, the length of each session is two hours. / Two photographers can shoot together in the group or split their time and work each 1:1.
Individual teams will be assembled based on the required support of each participant, the style of the participant's photography, the language, and the preferences (in the case of an agreement between two photographers).
PROGRAM

arrival - check in possible from 15:00, introduction, welcome dinner

morning and late afternoon sessions / different locations

departure - scheduled regarding the participants flights / check out max. 11:00
Private sessions
Private sessions are possible to arrange any of the event days in regard to the shooting schedule ( the shooting schedule will be set before the event according to the weather conditions - sunny/cloudy)
Photographers can pre-book the model ( I propose my coordination ) or they can decide on place.
TRANSPORTATION
We ensure the transport from the Zadar airport to the hotel, locations, and back to the Zadar airport. The distance from Zadar airport to Metajna village is 90min / 85km.
The exact meeting time at the airport will be set after the arrival time of all the participants is known, but please, try to manage your arrival on the 24th and 28th till 16:00, and the departure on the 28th and 2nd not before 10:00.
In case of your late evening arrival or early morning departure - I can arrange taxi for you (price 100e one way).
There is also an airport in Split, the distance Split - Metajna is 230 km / 2,45h
We do not ensure the transport from Split - in this case, you need to rent a car.
If you travel by car - you can take ferry from Prizna ( you need to buy ticket in advance https://www.ferrycroatia.com/en/prizna-zigljen/ or use the bridge.

PRICE & TERMS
1.990euro per person
( 100e the early bird discount for pre-registered photographers till May 25th )
Payment terms:
deposit 50 % upon booking confirmation
balance to be paid before the event starts
Terms of cancelation:
a) from the participant´s side -
the deposit is not refundable ( in case there is a backup for the canceled spot - the deposit will be refunded according to the condition of the possible replacement )
b) from the side of the organizer - 100% of the paid deposit will be returned
c) in case of an unexpected situation (war, epidemy, etc.) the event will be postponed, the deposit will be valid for the new date, transferred for another event, or can be refunded.
If you have a guest..
The price for the photographer's guest (not photographing the models) is 40e/night (upgrade for a double room with breakfast and dinner, lunch at the location)
the cost of lunch and transportation from/to airport - upon request
( in case you won't have a car - we can not ensure that the guest can travel with the group to the shooting locations - limit of space in our cars )
Included in the workshop price:
- transport from/to airport and locations
- 4 nights single accommodation in the hotel Bara Bay
- full board (breakfast - lunch - dinner)
- bottles of water
- non-commercial model release
Not Included in the workshop price:
- insurance
- model fee for private sessions
- additional drinks
